These needles are part of the tapestry range. These needles have a different morphology to other sewing and embroidery needles. They are shorter, stockier and have a longer eye. There are tapestry needles with point and without point. Roundpoint embroidery needles are generally used for sewing and joining knitted fabrics, and for half cross-stitch and cross-stitch embroidery on large to very thin openwork fabrics.
