They can be sewn flat onto any textile surface. The ends are already folded and won't fray. With their fun messages, they let you mark your creations or even your purchases with a personal touch.
Where to put a label?
You can place these square woven labels either on the front of a garment, accessory, or detail to give a wink visible to everyone! Adding a label personalizes your project, revealing both your personality and your sense of humor. You can also choose to position it inside, for example, on a top. That way, you'll always know easily how to tell the front from the back of the garment. A label adds the finishing touch. Woven labels are the hallmark of garments made with beautiful finishes.
How to put a label on a garment?
The advantage of BOHIN woven labels is that they are already ready to sew: no need to fold the edges or overcast them; these labels are just waiting to complete your latest sewing project! You have several options for attaching them: either sew them flat or just stitch the sides.
How to hand-sew a label?
Small items are easy to sew by hand. The advantage of hand-sewing woven labels is the opportunity to do it invisibly. Stitches can sometimes look unattractive when visible, both on the label and on its back, especially if the label is inside a garment. With their side folds, you can take advantage of the extra fabric on your label to create an invisible stitch. By gently sewing through your main fabric and crossing the folds, you’ll have a perfectly attached label with a flawless finish.
How to sew a label with a machine?
This is probably the simplest, fastest, and most efficient method: sew your woven labels with a sewing machine! Simply place the label in the desired location. You can secure it with a pin, clip, or even temporary fabric glue. Then, just sew a straight stitch close to the edge. You can choose to sew just the sides or the whole perimeter for extra security and to avoid snagging.
These labels were woven in China and are Oeko-Tex certified, meaning that every effort has been made to respect the environment, ensure good working conditions, and protect you from harmful substances.
If you need to label clothing with your name, consider the marking kit. To sew the labels by hand, we recommend using a size 5 needle, which will be sturdy enough to go through the thickness of the weave. For machine sewing, size 90 needles are recommended to securely attach your sewing label.
