Installation tool for light fabrics - Buttons without pressure 10, 12 and 14 mm
Our installation tool for light fabrics will help you in all your sewing projects. To be sure of successful installation, it is important to have the right equipment. This installation tool is intended for installing 10, 12 and 14 mm seamless buttons on light fabrics.
What will you need?
The no-pressure button installation tool consists of the following elements:
- a plate with imprint on both sides for the diameters of the claw caps (10,12 and 14mm)
- a punch that will accommodate the scratch-free parts of your buttons
For installation, first equip yourself with a hammer for the final crimping phase.
How to use the no-pressure button setting tool?
Your snap buttons are made up of 4 parts:
- 2 caps with claws
- 1 female part
- 1 male part
On the plate, place a cap with claw in the location corresponding to the diameter of your button.
At the end of the punch, place the male or female part of your button.
On the cap with claw, place your light fabric, and bring out the claws slightly through the fabric.
Place the punch and the female or male part on it, and crimp by tapping the punch with a hammer.
We advise you to be delicate and use a striking force adapted to the lightness of your fabric when crimping.
Repeat the operation with the other two parts of the snap button.
