2020 season postpone but...
The museum reopens its doors from July 16. We are fortunate to welcome an exhibition by Leslie Lucas great artist at the manufacture's boutique:
Come and discover fascinating and little-known women in history! Artists, athletes, heroines, scientists ... This series of portraits combining cyanotypes, contemporary embroidery and gold leaf, will allow you to dive into extraordinary journeys! The exhibition in the gallery of the La Manufacture Bohin boutique (free access during opening hours) also presents other works by the artist around the feminine theme, such as a triptych created in homage to the anonymous work of women, inspired by an archive photograph from La Manufacture Bohin.
Leslie Lucas is a Norman artist, a graduate of the Boulle and the Lesage school. She uses this precious know-how to create new works of art and perpetuate this transmission. Through her work, where beauty and poetry mingle, she invites us to dive into a meditative, contemplative universe, imbued with delicacy and strength, in search of memory and sensory links in the world around us.
As part of the Days of Matrimony, organized by the HF Normandie association, Leslie Lucas will be present on September 19th and 20th to present her work and inspirations to visitors.
